Appraisal Clause Umpire

Neutral Umpire Services
When an insurance policy contains an appraisal provision and the two appraisers cannot agree, they may select a neutral umpire to review the disputed valuation. CCSI reviews both appraisers’ documentation, vehicle details, market evidence, and valuation methods without representing either party. The opinion is limited to the issues submitted under the policy’s appraisal clause. Availability depends on the policy and the appointment or selection process. This service is not legal advice. The umpire’s fee is typically shared equally by the insurance company and the insured, as provided by the applicable policy or appraisal agreement.
